Now in its third year, the annual Portland conference known for creating community, building skills, and supporting empowered women in technology is back. And not only does it have a fancy new name and branding, but it has expanded to a full weekend!
This year, in partnership with the Art Institute of Portland, four Portland WIT organizations passionate about increasing the numbers of women in tech are organizing a weekend of career-building interactive booths, breakout sessions, networking, technical workshops, a career fair, and inspiration. Women of all levels of interest and involvement in tech are invited to attend. Whether you have a lot to learn or a bit to teach, we hope you join us! Stay tuned for more details; as we solidify our sessions, sponsors and partners, we will add them to this page and email you. Keep in contact with the hashtag #actwpdx!
**Note: you do not have to "feel" technical to attend this conference. Any woman involved in the tech industry is welcome; there will be no tests to decide if you're technical (or "woman") "enough".
Sessions:
Are you interested in doing a lightning talk? Running a hands-on session? Leading a discussion? Being a speaker? We want you to help empower women in Portland! http://act-w.org/rfp
