description nil Oregon IEEE Requests Your Help at the April 2010 Intel NWSE Fair Judging. The Portland State University 27th Intel Northwest Science Expo (NWSE) will be held during April 2nd. We are asking for your help as a judge at the events. This year we are expecting approximate minimum of 500 High School and Middle School Projects from Oregon and SW Washington. The ISEF is an international, national and local science and engineering enrichment, coaching, independent and competition program that promotes middle and high school science and engineering achievement in U.S state and global areas for decades. The Intel NWSE is one of the most successful education partnerships involving IEEE judging, volunteers, educators, industry sponsors and students. The NWSE Judging will be held Friday April 2nd, at the Portland State University. The success of the I-SEF judging depends entirely on the efforts of volunteers. You can help, please contact the coordinators. Also please let us know what award area you would like to judge. It is a project of the Center for Science Education at PSU. At Intel NWSE students present a science research project they have completed within the last year in poster form. Students are also interviewed by judges. When and where is the Intel NWSE held? The 2010 Intel NWSE judging will be held April 2nd. The 2010 Intel NWSE will be held on the Portland State University campus in downtown Portland. Middle School Student exhibits and award ceremony are in the Peter Stott Center. High School Students exhibit their projects in the Smith Center Ballroom. The high school awards ceremony is held in Hoffmann Hall. Set up for Middle school students is the evening of Thursday April 2nd. High School students have early morning set up on April 2nd. Judging and awards ceremonies are on Friday April 2nd.
