Come join the Portland Drone Enthusiast community for our monthly meeting. If you like Drones, UAVs, or UAS then this is the group for you. We'll have some great guest speakers and the retreat to a local brewpub for continued discussion!
* Mike Hutt, UAS Program Manager, USGS National UAS Project Office
Mike will join us remotely to talk about how the US Geological Society is using UAS to support their missions. The UAS office currently flies the Raven, Global Hawk and T-Hawk to operate their missions.
* Pat Hickey, Mavelous Developer
Pat will speak about running ArduPilot and ArduCopter on the new PX4 hardware, and the advantages and challenges the new architecture brings with it.
