Resilience brings public agencies, citizens, churches, community groups, and non-profits together for a one-day event to share information and skills to improve community resilience and disaster preparedness. In addition to an exposition of various disaster preparedness plans and resources, there will be skills workshops and a disaster simulation. This event is part of NECN’s efforts to improve community disaster preparedness. A team of PSU Graduate Students in Urban Planning will also be presenting a draft Disaster Resource Directory and Community Contingency Plan. |
