Second Story is hosting the first Volumetric Society meetup in Portland.
Agenda:
1. Second Story will discuss our approach to many of the Kinect and Xtion powered interactives at the World of Coca Cola (http://vimeo.com/34592058) including: multiple (depth camera) sensor fusion, camera calibration techniques, real time point cloud meshing etc...
2. (TBD) will discuss experiments with Kinect/skeletal tracking
3. (TBD) will discuss TBD!
4. There will time at the end of the meeting for anybody to share their work with depth sensors in an open, brief format
This event is hosted in the Second Story medialab, there will also be a MS Surface 2 table and a 3D volumetric display courtesy of our friends at Juliet & Zulu. |
