The Oregon Section's officer position for Treasurer has become vacant due to an out-of-state move by the present Treasurer.
Candidate nominations are solicited to fill this vacancy. To be eligible, a candidate must be a current member of the IEEE and able to be present and give a candidate's statement at the September Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, September 13,2011.
Persons wishing to be considered for candidacy must notify the Oregon IEEE Secretary, Gary Perman, by noon on Friday, September 9, 2011 to allow time to prepare paper ballots for voting during the September ExComm meeting. Gary's email address is: [email protected].
Each candidate will be given 3 minutes to make an oral statement to the ExComm outlining their qualifications and previous experience managing money for other organizations.
