Join PDXWIT as we collaborate with the Oregon Venture Fund (OVF) for the annual OVF and Women in Tech’s Entrepreneur Pitch event!
Do you have a business idea that you think has potential, but you want some experts to weigh in? Or perhaps you’re already making your dream a reality, have some investment, and want to keep your momentum going? Perhaps you’re somewhere in between.
Get in front of OVF investors so they can provide you with informal, constructive feedback and connections. 90% of OVF investors have started or run a business at some point in their career, and this is a no-pressure way to tap into their connections and get early feedback from these local entrepreneurs and tech leaders.
Space is limited, so please be sure to register early.

5:00pm Doors Open/Networking 5:15pm Welcome, Introductions, Announcements 5:30pm Entrepreneur Pitches (3 mins & 2 min Q&A) - up to 12 companies 6:30pm Entrepreneurs/Investors Connect 7:30pm Event Ends
Entrepreneurs: Sign up to get feedback on your business or idea, with the understanding that no business is too early or incomplete. Find out if you’ve got something that will grab the attention of investors. Slots are awarded on a first come, first served basis. Register early using the code Entrepreneur to secure your pitch. Limit 2 per company, and each person must register separately.

Community Members (space is limited): Come observe these inspiring entrepreneurs as they share their brilliant ideas. Hopefully you’ll leave inspired to present at the next Pitch Fest event! When you register please select a General Admission ticket.

Q: Will masks be required in indoor spaces? Will masks be required outside? Will hand sanitizer be provided and plentiful? A: Masks are optional and there will be hand sanitizer. We will ask all attendees to show proof of vaccination OR have a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event.

Q: Will there be gender neutral restrooms? A: No
Q: Is the space ADA accessible? A: Yes
Q: Will there be food and drink at this event? A: Yes.
Q: What is the parking situation? A: There is street parking and a Smart Park garage across the street (enter on SW 10th).
Q: Is there any special information that might help me find the entrance? A: Please enter the building on SW 9th. There will be a volunteer in the lobby to direct you to the elevators to the 30th floor. The conference room we are using is located within an office where folks will be working. Please be quiet as you enter the building and limit any socializing to the conference room. The elevators will lock promptly at 6pm and late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
Q: Is there secured bike parking? A: There is open bike parking below the building. There is a parking attendant close by, but it’s not truly secure.
Q: Should I consider using public transportation? A: Yes, MAX has a stop within one block from the building.
Q: Can I bring my dog? A: Sadly, no.
Q: Are the exit signs clearly marked? A: Yes
