About the speaker:

Justin Perry graduated from The Tech Academy in the summer of 2020. Since then he has landed two separate tech jobs. Justin works as a contracted Software Developer for Easie, and the Junior CTO for Cheviot Capitol Inc.

You have probably heard a lot of talk about "the cloud" lately. You may have even used some cloud based resources. But what is the cloud exactly?

Chris Thompson is a machine learning engineer and a certified Google Cloud Architect. Join him as he introduces you to core cloud concepts.

The discussion will revolve around what challenges it is solving for various companies, different problems is it solving, and why you should start learning and using it as quickly as possible. About the speaker:

Marquita Hartman graduated from The Tech Academy's Software Development bootcamp in November of 2019. Since then she has been working as a SQL Developer for Computer Share.

Before her career in tech, Marquita worked as a dental assistant for 8 years. She is going to talk about her journey from one career to another, along with the trials and tribulations of making a major career change.

Marquita's new position has her performing a wide variety of tasks, from production support to quality assurance, as well as working with a completely new set technologies.
