ThursdayNov 17 2016UX NIGHT SCHOOL: Envisioning and Acting - A Community Workshop
What changes after the 2016 elections? How do folks from the design and tech communities come together to fight the good fight? How do we learn how to help?
In this workshop, we’ll work with both ideas and actions, by joining with community partners to envision, plan, scope and scale a User Experience project. We’ll begin by discussing problems and needs with our stakeholders, using the Envisioning Cards toolkit from the Value Sensitive Design Lab at UW. We’ll then explore User Experience methods and tactics using IDEO’s method cards. Lastly, we’ll plan deliverables, discuss resourcing, and create a budget for our project.
Workshop is limited to 10 participants. We'll have plenty of time for discussion and exploration.
Participants will receive a copy of the UX Night School Field Notebook and our UX Project Planning and Methods Guides to use in their own work. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

ThursdayJun 9 2016Ladies Drawing Night
All you ladies who like to draw, come on out! Bring whatever you are working on, we'll have table space for working, but bring the supplies that you'll need.
I've been drawing daily for the past six months or so, but I've started to crave chatting with others and getting inspired by seeing what other people are creating, so I created an event to make that happen.
