Our group has grown in many exciting ways over the last year as we have worked to redefine the goals and impact of our group in the community. Not only have we seen more consistent attendance from existing members but we have seen lots of new members join as well!

Our Dec 3rd event will be focused around celebrating our personal and professional growth and successes as individuals and as a group over the last year.

We expect attendees to come prepared to share: - 1-3 personal successes or achievements you have achieved in the last 1 year - 1-3 personal/professional goals you want to focus on next year.

PS: The leadership team will be covering some catered food and a max of 2 beverages. If you would like to purchase additional items you will be expected to cover those costs yourself.

Groups all over the US will be meeting up for an OpenStreetMap Edit-a-thon, and we'll be having a Portland get-together too!

OpenStreetMap, sometimes called "the Wikipedia of maps" is a free worldwide basemap that anyone can use and edit. Even if you've never edited OSM before, you're welcome to join us. Bring a laptop (and mouse, if you have one--it helps!) and your local knowledge.

We'll have a short "Intro to OpenStreetMap" talk around 3, and cheerfully provide assistance with setting up OSM editing software and learning how to add and edit features. Latecomers are a-ok!
