Join us for the first Fintech PDX of 2024. The group has been growing steadily in the past months, so we're moving to a larger space. Stop by and network with Portland's Fintech community.

Let's celebrate the end of the year with a casual hangout at Migration Brewing! Grab a drink, hang out, talk shop and network with other PDX ReactJS developers!

We are having a #social_beer get together on Thursday February 2nd, around 6:30pm at Migration Brewing (2828 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97232) - would love to see you there!

Bring a list of old domains you hesitantly keep renewing, domains that no longer fit, domains you've outgrown, domains you've had parked for years and haven't used. Give them away to friends, trade for better domains, and pick up some hot, new URLs for 2017.

How this Works

Come to Migration Brewing at 7pm with your laptop. We'll write all our domains on notecards. We'll all look at our collective compiled domain names on a projected spreedsheet, and pick out ones we want. Then we'll do ICANN transfers amongst ourselves. If multiple people want the same domain, you'll have to convince its registrant that you'll do something better with it. It's up to the registrant to decide. Domain trading is more than welcome.

This month Kyle Duford, will be sharing a bit about his experiences creating and optimizing award winning e-commerce experiences. Kyle has successfully built and led e-commerce teams for notable consumer brands including Dr. Martens, Speck Products, Nau, and Chrome Industries - doubing or tripling their online revenue within 18 months - as well has helped other outdoor brands such as KEEN, Blue Seventy, Nuun, Rudy Project, Retul, and Carmichael Training Systems. Come learn what it takes from a man who has done it.

We will be meeting at Migration Brewing for some beer and casual networking. You can find us in the Annex where the first round of beer is on us.

Migration will be inviting 4 other breweries (Pfriem, Gigantic, Breakside, and Burnside) to pour their choice holiday ale accompanied by 45 minutes of their favorite music. So before heading home for the holidays join 5 fantastic breweries for a night of holiday ales, brewer’s choice playlists, giveaways, and a fun night with great company.

On March 8th, 2011 Elliott Design Inc. will be putting on an event for technology enthusiasts and marketers at Migration Brewery from 1:30-5:30Pm.
