This sprint will be focused on cleaning up rc1 and getting either an rc2 out or a 1.0 final. More details will be posted here and announced on django-dev as we get closer to the time of the sprint. For a full roadmap see VersionOneRoadmap#schedule.
Sponsorship This sprint is sponsored by Vidoop. There will also be a sponsored afterparty.
What's a sprint? How do I participate Anybody, anywhere around the world, can participate and contribute. We'll be gathering in person in Portland, but if you can't make it you can also help out in IRC.
Attendees If you plan to participate in the sprint, please add your name to the roster. We have space for around 50 attendees, so if things fill up we might have to cap attendance.

WednesdayMay 28 2008Portland Lunch 2.0 @ Vidoop
The Portland Lunch 2.0 saga continues at OpenID provider Vidoop in Old Town on May 28, 2008. Good news if you made it to eROI in April, Vidoop is in the same building, with a different entrance.
Lunch 2.0 is a Valley phenomenon that you can read about here.
We're putting a PDX stamp on it. So come check it out and expect to hear about your favorite Interwebs meme, bacon from Scott Kveton.
Come one, come all, whether geek or not. Have some lunch on Vidoop, mix and mingle with your fellow Portlanders, learn about the tech scene in Portland, go home or back to work happy and full. -
FridayMay 23 2008Portland Startup Weekendthrough
Vidoop [out of business]You ready? Startup Weekend is proud to announce that the Portland Startup Weekend will be held May 23-25 2008 (immediately following WebVisions 2008). This is Memorial day weekend, so plan accordingly. It will be great to have a nice northwestern spring day on Monday to enjoy as a holiday (which is a huge plus). A nice intimate set will be provided by the great folks at SMtvMusic.com. We already have quite a few surprises planned for the first Startup Weekend in Oregon. So, you want to get involved? Contact [email protected] if you would like to help plan the event.
