Invent Seminar Series: An Introduction to Stanford Biodesign – Pursuing Needs-based Innovation in Healthcare – OHSU, Knight Cancer Research Building 1011 (first floor) Speaker: Ryan Krone, PhD, Innovation and Commercialization Director for Cancer Early Detection and Advanced Research (CEDAR) at OHSU Join us to uncover the importance of identifying clinical need and value in the innovation process to develop cost-effective biomedical solutions that significantly impact human health. Ryan is a former fellow in the Stanford Biodesign program, where he and Holly Rockweiler co-founded Madorra. For CEDAR, Ryan facilitates the capture of innovation and surveys external strategic partnerships to uncover commercial opportunities in early cancer detection. He leverages his start-up experience to enable fast-paced execution among the research teams and aid in the fog sculpting of early stage projects.
