In this session, I’ll share how to market and run a Meetup; we've been running one the past two years.

I’ll share how to run a YouTube channel we've been running the past year. I’ve been able to include the Meetup as part of the YouTube Channel.

I’ll provide you with some ideas on how to share your content online by using filmmaking techniques. I have examples of how to create a story with script writing, filming, and editing with Final Cut Pro. I’ll bring my gimbal and 360 camera we use for Facebook Live. We also use Zoom for our conferencing, desktop sharing, and recording needs.

Lastly, I share a social media strategy on how to tag and post on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meetup.

Instagram Portland is a new meetup for anyone creating instagram content for themselves or for their business. Expect presentations on a range of insta-topics, including photography, hashtags, partnerships, ads, analytics and more.

For our inaugural meetup, organizers @petermarks and @kait.hurley will present on how they've grown their small business (https://kaithurley.com/) on instagram and provide tips for growing an engaged audience.

Doors for the event will open at 5:30pm. The half-hour presentation will start at 6pm, followed by a Q+A session and networking.

In this session, we'll cover tips and tricks to improve your photography game.

Here's what we'll cover: 1. Camera Options - I'll bring my camera gear and we'll talk about Mirrorless, DSLR, Gimbals, Tripods, Phone cameras, 360, Snapchat Spectacles, and much more. You're welcome to bring your gear and show your stuff. 2. Talk types of photography and composition (Portraits, Landscapes, Events, Selfies, etc). 3. Enhancing/Filtering with Lightroom and Snapseed (mobile). 4. Editing with Photoshop. 5. Instagram Stories, formatting, tagging friends, hashtags. Becoming an influencer.

The remaining time left for Q&A. This session will be aimed between beginner and advanced. Everyone is welcome to share and connect with new inspired artists.
