Description
An exploration of the ways the nonprofit and public sectors reify structural inequalities.
About this event
Hosted by Cinder and moderated by Marcus Carter II (he/him), we will examine the structures and assumptions within these sectors and how they inhibit the advancement of equity.
Panelists to include:
Shannon Hardt (she/hers), Organizer, Critical Resistance Amanda Hernandez LCSW, CADC1 (she/hers), Behavioral Health Consultant with Multnomah County Health Dept.
Our intention with this conversation is to interrogate the integrity and efficacy of the actions taken by the nonprofit and public sectors especially as they relate directly to our communities.
We are curious to explore the question: How do the nonprofit and public sectors function as technologies of oppression?
