PDX Women In Tech (PDXWIT) Coding Study Night

9 Southeast 3rd Avenue
Portland, OR 97214, US (map)

Please RSVP on Eventbrite HERE

PDXWIT would like to find out if its members could benefit from a coding study night. Portland is lucky to have many resources for code study available, but these events tend to be focused on a particular language or skillset. We’d like to gather our technical members together for a more open study group. If you have a personal or work project you’d like another set of eyes on, or if you would like to help others with their code, we’d love to have you. So far we have tutors signed up with knowledge of ReactJS, C#, Javascript, CSS, Ruby, HTML and Wordpress: Kelli de Vries, Andrew Brennwald, Sasha Fahrenkopf, Michelle J Levine, Diana Holland, Gloria Anholt

PDXWIT is a community-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources and opportunities. We are unifying a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech, all of whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the industry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on women.

Trans and non-binary people are always welcome at our events.
