Women have been relegated to the background in this environment for too long, their important contributions overlooked – but that all changes now as we bring SIX women to the Rev Hall stage to share their never been told, true stories.</p> <p>Story themes include Origins of My Superpower, Big Failure Big Gain, Embracing My Bossy Bad Self, Best / Worst / Oddest Day on the Job, That Moment I Just Stopped Caring, Shaking Hands with My Inner Weird.</p> <p>Storytellers include women of all colors and cultural backgrounds who are killing it in tech: DOMINIQUE DeGUZMAN, Twilio MELINDA CAMPBELL, Puppet Inc. A percentage of our proceeds will go to Black Girls CODE. Black Girls CODE is devoted to showing the world that black girls, when given the opportunity, excel at code. Their ultimate goal is to provide African-American youth with the skills to occupy some of the 1.4 million computing job openings expected to be available in the U.S. by 2020, and to train 1 million girls by 2040.
