As a member of the tech community, I believe it fits here.)</p> <p>Mark Shapiro of LAIKA, the studio behind Coraline, Kubo & the Two Strings, The Boxtrolls, and ParaNorman. Mark Shapiro from LAIKA will present how these beloved oscar-nominated films are made by hand — from script to illustrations to stop-motion animation. It's a painstaking labor of love that produces an average of two seconds of footage in an week.</p> <p>Mark will also give you an intimate look behind the curtain of LAIKA's biggest stars — the puppets, of course!
