An Introduction to OpenSCAD, a free software for creating 3D models using a compiler that reads in a script file http://www.openscad.org Individuals may choose to work on their own project or a pre-existing Open-Source project. The demonstration will show how to model a Lego.

The design development cycle can be as in-depth as the group wants it to be. 3D printers are available for prototyping and advice on manufacturing can be presented as well.
