An organization's website is one of its most important storytelling tools. Join us at the Multnomah County Library's central branch to hear from the team who brought the Library's award-winning website to life. How did they develop the site to tell the brand story of the Multnomah County Library? What challenges did they face? How can nonprofits and other civic organizations apply these learnings to their own work?

PRESENTERS

Jeremy Graybill, Marketing + Online Engagement Director, Multnomah County Library
Jeremy Graybill is the Marketing + Online Engagement Director for Multnomah County Library.  Throughout his 15 year career in creative services, Jeremy has lead award-winning marketing campaigns, directed the development and deployment of an award-winning next-gen website, implemented new services on social and mobile platforms, and emphasized user-centered design in all things. Throughout his work with both mission-driven and for-profit organizations, he has led extensive branding and identity campaigns, led strategic communication efforts from idea to execution, and brought an emphasis on audience segmentation, analysis and measurement to the table. Jeremy has overseen broad and effective social media campaigns - successfully building and engaging new audiences and incorporating these strategies into traditional and existing outreach tools.

Matthew Timberlake, IT Portfolio Manager, Multnomah County Library
Matthew Timberlake is the IT Portfolio Manager for Multnomah County Library, one of the nation's busiest, where he works to deliver transformative technology to all libraries. He is a founding member of the Digital Inclusion Network and is passionate about digital equity and issues of access, privacy, net neutrality and social justice. Multnomah County Library is the largest single provider of free broadband access, training and equipment in Multnomah County, hosting almost 2 million free public access sessions each year.

Josh Mitchell, Chief Technology Officer, Drupal
Josh Mitchell is the Chief Technology Office for the Drupal Association and former Enterprise Application Services Manager for Multnomah County. As the technology leader for the Drupal Association, his mission is to build and maintain the strategic roadmap sites and tools that support the Drupal community. Drupal.org is the home of a diverse and vibrant open source community that builds the content management framework used by organizations such as The White House, NBC Universal, The Weather Channel, the Australian government, and many more high impact sites around the world.
