The container represents a modern abstraction for applications and provides the necessary constraints for building robust and self-aware systems on top of the core tenants of distributed computing.</p> <p>In the future the virtual machine will disappear and a logical computer will emerge that stretches across the datacenter and plugs into the global network over high speed links.
