You’re welcome to bring food into the theater with you.</p> <p>DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Freshwaters are some of the most imperiled ecosystems on the planet. Human activities, such as those linked to climate change, invasive species, and pollution, have greatly accelerated the degradation of these critical ecosystems.</p> <p>Angela Strecker, PhD, assistant professor of Environmental Science and Management at Portland State University, will share some recent research and prospects for the future of healthy freshwaters in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.</p> <hr> <p>Science on Tap is a science lecture series where you can sit back, enjoy a pint, and laugh while you learn. Listen to experts talk about the science in your neighborhood and around the world.
