DESCRIPTION:Portland Starlight Parade&#13\;\n&#13\;\nIn 2026\, the Portla
 nd Rose Festival proudly introduces an exciting evolution of two beloved
  traditions: the CareOregon Grand Floral Starlight Parade.&#13\;\nThis n
 ewly reimagined parade brings together the pageantry of the Grand Floral
  Parade with the energy and excitement of the Starlight Parade into one 
 unforgettable celebration. By combining these iconic events\, the Rose F
 estival is creating a single\, dynamic parade experience that honors tra
 dition while embracing creativity\, community\, and innovation.&#13\;\n&
 #13\;\nTo preserve the distinct character of each parade\, the event wil
 l unfold in two phases. The Grand Floral portion will step off at 6:30 p
 m\, featuring floral floats\, marching bands\, equestrian units\, and co
 mmunity groups in daylight. Later in the evening\, as darkness falls\, t
 he Starlight portion will step off at 8:30 pm\, showcasing illuminated f
 loats\, lighting effects\, and nighttime spectacle. The two portions wil
 l run sequentially allowing each to shine in its own way.&#13\;\n&#13\;\
 nThis format allows for richer storytelling\, broader representation\, a
 nd an enhanced experience for both participants and spectators\, while a
 lso enabling the Rose Festival to focus resources more intentionally—str
 engthening production quality\, improving operational efficiency\, and e
 nsuring the long-term sustainability of one of Portland’s most cherished
  civic celebrations.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWe look forward to welcoming the com
