DESCRIPTION:Our first Networking Night of 2017 is a Saturday dedicated to
  AR and VR Project Showcases at the Creative Media &amp\; Digital Cultur
 e Center (CMDC) at Washington State University in Vancouver (WSUV).  The
  Creative Media &amp\; Digital Culture (CMDC) program teaches students t
 o conceptualize applications of digital technologies and to think critic
 ally about digital media and the ways humans interact and engage with th
 em. On Jan. 28th\, CMDC alumnae and current students will be showcasing 
 AR\, VR\, 2D &amp\; 3D animations\, websites\, and a transmedia educatio
 nal game environment that have been created for their own research or lo
 cal community and cultural organizations. Experience and learn further a
 bout the creative and critical approaches CMDC students have used when w
 orking with digital technology.   Saturday's Program 1:00pm – 1:30pm – D

  on the beautiful campus of WSU Vancouver and we hope you will make the

 C  The Creative Media &amp\; Digital Culture (CMDC) program offers a maj
 or and a formal minor leading to the Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in D
 igital Technology and Culture (DTC) at Washington State University Vanco
 uver.  It teaches students to conceptualize\, in both research and pract
 ice\, applications of digital technologies and to think critically about
  digital media and the ways humans interact and engage with them. The CM
 DC program focuses on six areas of study within the field of digital med
 ia: 1) web &amp\; mobile design &amp\; development\, 2) 2 &amp\; 3D anim
 ation for simulation and visualization\, 3) digital publishing\, 4) phys
 ical computing\, 5) social media / SEO for digital marketing\, and most 
 recently 6) game studies &amp\; design.  With over 250 students in the C
 MDC\, it is now recognized as one of five Signature Programs on the WSUV
