Arrays act as large parallel computers\, as well as sparse ph ased array antennas\, transmitting thousands of communication beams simu ltaneously to ground receivers and other arrays in space. \;\n \;\ nServer-sat arrays use unlimited space solar power\, and operate outside the biosphere. The environmental impact of power generation and heat di sposal is tiny. Other surprising biological effects will need study. Ear th can return to what it is good at – green and growing things – while s pace can be filled with gray and computing things. \n\nTags: space\, sat ellite\, data center\, green energy\n\nImported from: http://calagator.o rg/events/1250458147 URL:http://server-sky.com SUMMARY:Server Sky - Data Centers in Orbit LOCATION:TERAC\, TVF&R Training Building: 20665 SW Blanton\, Aloha Oregon 97007 US SEQUENCE:1 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
