"This month we are celebrating 1.337 years of music, dancing, drinking, and tournaments!

Portland Indie Game Squad is running Skull Girls and Super Smash Bros video game tournaments with prizes, DJ Switch from Dangerous Kids is DJing the geeky tunes, and we have guests from your favorite local podcasts and geeky groups! Prizes are being provided by Jupiter Hotel, Ground Kontrol and Sock Dreams!

Event is 21+

The Stumpquest Games Fest

The Stumpquest Games Fest is a 4-day games festival celebrating the integration of games, design, art, and technology in collaboration with independent developers. Come participate in the multifaceted medium of games through design and play! In addition to attending, registration is open for volunteers and those who want to showcase their game projects.

Events include: Twine Workshop, Board Game Prototyping, Indie Games Tournament, Indie Games Arcade, Twine Jam, Film Screening

Clear your calendar! Towerfall Tournament kicks off on May 7th, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Esri PDX (309 SW 6th Ave) is our meeting spot for a night of fun and excitement.

Beginners are welcome!

TowerFall is an archery combat platformer for up to 4 players. It's a local party game centering around hilarious, intense versus matches. The core mechanics are simple and accessible, but combat is fast and fierce.

Do you work for a tech company in any way, shape, or form (start-up, developer, marketing, design, admin, tech student, etc.)? Do you want to be more involved in the Portland tech community? Come by and play some Ping-Pong! Or, just come by for some good conversation and a beer. Headbands, wristbands, and other such attire are encouraged.

This event is free but please RSVP so we can get a head count for food and drinks [Note: You must have a connection to the tech community.]

Bring $5 cash for the winner takes all tournament if you want to play!
