Remote Tech Talk at the Guild: Unix Philosophy & Tools – PDX Code Guild Many Unix hackers avoid using an IDE when they do their work. “Unix is the IDE” they claim. In this talk, I will explain the oft-cited “unix philosophy” which permeates hacker culture and illuminates the dark path of the command line.
