Jim also served as Director of Business Alliances for the Oregon Univers ity System and with Vice Chancellor Diane Vines was lead staff for the E conomic Development Joint Boards Working Group\, a collaboration between the state’s university system and the state’s Economic Development Comm ission. Jim has also played a key role in the development of many of the state’s early-stage funds and is an investor in many of the state’s sta rt-ups.
