 events: http://tinyurl.com/yelpreview08&#13\;\n&#13\;\nFeaturing Live DJ

are Association of Oregon introduce Equilibrium: The Human Mash Up. In t
he spirit of disruptive ideas and breaking down barriers we ask\, &quot\
;How can art and technology and the synergy of the two address humanity'
s next evolutionary step?&quot\; Four categories of work will address th
ese questions and collectively speak to the power of human ingenuity. We
invite artistic and technological creators to submit their work that ad
dresses human survival in an era of interspecies evolution\, revolution\
, and devolution.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nArt and technology are two words that f
or many represent vastly different worlds\, and for generations have lar
gely existed along parallel\, yet non-convergent lines. But now the pote
ntial for unprecedented collaboration is here. Ever-evolving technologie
s allow us to share ideas across borders\, both geographic and symbolic.
Such potential for shared ideas has helped break down long standing sil
os that for generations inhibited expansive thought and human progressio
n.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nThe lines are now blurred. Creators of all sorts now h
ave public space to mutually ponder where we've been\, where we are\, an
d where we're going. By sharing once segregated perspectives\, we can se
e the world through a different lens and evolve as a species like never
before.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nE= m4 humanity - Submissions will fall into one o
f four conceptual areas:&#13\;\n&#13\;\nMomentum: captures the inertia a
nd velocity of human innovation &#13\;\nMaintenance: captures the drive
for ecological and human preservation &#13\;\nMultiplicity: captures the
boundless potential of human convergence &#13\;\nMobility: captures the
facilitation of human movement and idea exchange&#13\;\nhttp://tinyurl.
