&#13\;\n&#13\;\nTalk: Go without the operating system by Bernerd Schaefe
r&#13\;\n&#13\;\nGo lets you to compile your program into stand-alone bi
naries which can be safely shared across systems without worrying about
a missing dependency. But there's one thing even a stand-alone executabl
e depends on: the operating system. What if you could remove that depend
ency\, too? &#13\;\n&#13\;\nAtmanOS is a project built to explore that q
uestion. It allows you to compile ordinary Go programs and run them on c
loud providers like Amazon's EC2\, without a traditional operating syste
 m. &#13\;\n&#13\;\nPlease RSVP on the meetup page so we know what to set
up!&#13\;\n&#13\;\nContinue discussion over beers at Baileys!&#13\;\n&#
13\;\nThanks to Esri R&amp\;D for hosting us once again!\n\nTags: pdxgo\
