DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the PDXNode Hack Night!&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWhat is a P
DXNode Hack Night?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nPDXNode Hack Nights are your opportuni
ty to enjoy a low-pressure JavaScript-centric environment where you shou
ldn't feel like you're supposed to do anything. First and foremost–just
come and enjoy yourself. The night is yours: hang\, hack\, learn\, or do
whatever you’re interested in doing. 🙌&#13\;\n&#13\;\nDepending on the
size and interests of our attending group\, we have various paths the ni
ght could go\, and may or may not attempt some of the following:&#13\;\n
 &#13\;\nMap Ctrl-H into Hackerspace Regions&#13\;\n&#13\;\nThe hackerspa
ce will be mapped into 'regions'\, and you can feel free to gravitate to
wards whichever one suits your interest!&#13\;\n&#13\;\n• A place for be
ginners who want to get going with node for the first time.&#13\;\n• A p
lace for people who want to work on their own projects (eg. projects you
want to do outside of work\, but need to find the time).&#13\;\n• A pla
ce for people to just hang out and connect.&#13\;\n• A place for people
to work on projects in groups!&#13\;\n&#13\;\n'Unconference'-style Team
 Hacks&#13\;\n&#13\;\nFor team-hackers\, we'll have a board up and sticky
-notes available available at the beginning of the night. Anyone can fee
l free to write the name and/or description of something they'd like to
hack on with other people–and others who're interested can feel free to
go to that region and join in!&#13\;\n&#13\;\nEnd of Night Show and Tell
&#13\;\n&#13\;\nThere will be a list available to write your name\, or t
eam's name down on to give a quick show and tell of your projects at the
end of the night. We're pumped to see what you've been working on!&#13\
;\n&#13\;\nSome general stuff to remember:&#13\;\n&#13\;\nHelp is availa
ble!&#13\;\n&#13\;\nThere will be seasoned Nodesters ready and available
to help anyone with questions or advice in any of the hack-zones: begin
ners\, solo\, and group projects. Feel free to reach out and ask at any
 time throughout the evening.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nDo what you want to do&#13\;
\n&#13\;\nAbove all\, we hope for this to be an easy-going event for peo
ple to do what they want to do with the time we have. Make the time awes
 ome\, it's yours. 😎&#13\;\n&#13\;\nCode of Conduct&#13\;\n&#13\;\nPDXNod
e continues to abide by its Code of Conduct\, and we ask everyone to com
mit to keeping to it in order for all of us to have a safe\, fun\, and a
 mazing time.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWahoo! See you then! 🎉🎉 💻 🎉🎉\n\nTags: node.j
