DESCRIPTION:EDI (or DEI\, JEDI\, etc.) has become a buzzword that many st
 ill are trying to wrap their heads around: exactly\, what\, does\, an\,
 EDI\, practitioner\, do?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nHint: it is closely connected wi
 th Team Building\, Innovation\, and Leadership. It also has a lasting im
 pact on Talent Acquisition and Retention\, Competitiveness\, and the Lon
 gevity of a Business. Watch this 3-minute video to get some ideas.&#13\;
 \n&#13\;\nIn this fireside chat\, Sandra Hunter (she/her)\, Kjell van Zo
 en (they/them)\, and Zhou Fang (she/her) are going to share their storie
 s\, experiences and perspectives both as independent practitioners\, bus
 iness operators\, and colleagues and peers for each other.&#13\;\n&#13\;
 \nImportant to note: just like any profession\, all EDI and leadership p
 ractitioners share similarities and have differences at the same time. O

 mation\, and find the practitioner(s) that speak to you and connect with
  your team.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nSandra Hunter (she/her) is a Women’s Empowerm
 ent Coach and an advocate for cross-generational collaboration and mento
 rship with a focus on empowering women of color. She has 19 years of exp
 erience as an English and Creative Writing professor and her own experie
 nces with race and gender bias led her to create Wild Women Leaders of C
 olor. Her work offers a holistic approach to professional development th
 rough somatic stress release and story-healing techniques.&#13\;\nShe’s
 also an award-winning author of three books that highlight social injust
 ices and amplify young women’s voices. Her ultimate vision is to equip t
 he next generation to combat racism and gender bias\, creating a more in
 clusive society.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nKjell van Zoen (they/them) is a non-bina
 ry\, multicultural\, organizational culture nerd who loves to inspire pe
 ople towards being less racist\, sexist\, ableist\, ageist\, homophobic\
 , transphobic\, and the intersectionality of all of those plus more. Com
 bined with their background in business and entrepreneurship\, Kjell ena
 bles organizations\, teams\, individuals\, and leaders to develop effici
 ent\, resilient\, agile\, and equitable operations and communications sy
 stems.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nZhou Fang (she/her) is the founder and principal p
 ractitioner of Intersectional Group LLC\, a leadership and equity\, dive
 rsity\, and inclusion (EDI) consulting practice with a focus on intersec
 tionality\, empathy and compassion\, as well as curiosity.&#13\;\n&#13\;

 rm and climate justice\, as well as a committed ally for the LGBTQ+ and
