 r Eltanawy\, this event is designed to:&#13\;\n&#13\;\n- introduce new i
 deas within our community&#13\;\n- find solutions to project challenges&
 #13\;\n- encourage networking and collaboration&#13\;\n- improve present
 ation skills&#13\;\n- create access to mentors&#13\;\n- provide a safe s
 pace to learn and grow&#13\;\n- help you accelerate your project&#13\;\n
 &#13\;\nWho is it for?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nMembers with a coding\, hacking or
  maker project seeking a supportive audience who will provide potential 
 solutions to challenges\, constructive questions and feedback. Please ap
 ply!&#13\;\n&#13\;\nMembers with a pet project on the back burner (or th
 e front one!) who would like to present\, discuss and gain traction? Com
 e on out and share it!&#13\;\n&#13\;\nFolks interested in hearing about 
 innovative projects and providing helpful audience feedback. Join us!&#1
 3\;\n&#13\;\n&#13\;\nHow does it work?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nHere’s the scoop:&
 #13\;\n&#13\;\nThe event starts with 15 minutes of networking. We will a
 lso encourage you to reconvene informally at the end.&#13\;\n&#13\;\n2 t
 o 3 projects will be selected for presentation.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nEach proj
 ect presenter has a maximum of 20 minutes for their project (10 minutes 
 to present\, 10 minutes for brainstorming challenge solutions and receiv
 ing feedback). Presentations will be timed.&#13\;\n&#13\;\n&#13\;\nHow d
 o I apply to present?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nIf you want to present your idea or
  project\, please fill out this form before September 13th\, 2018 and ch
 oose the Access to Invite-Only option to be invited to present\; first c
 onsideration will be given to the earliest entries.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWe wi
 ll notify selected presenters by email on September 17th\, 2018.&#13\;\n

 community-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to strengthen th
 e Portland women in tech community by offering educational programs\, pa
 rtnerships\, mentorships\, resources and opportunities. We are unifying 
 a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech\, all o
 f whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring togethe
 r and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech caree
 rs. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the indust
 ry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on wome
