DESCRIPTION:#Spring Buildathon!&#13\;\n&#13\;\n##Guidelines for Guest Con
 tributors&#13\;\n&#13\;\n##What is it?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nBelieve it or not\
, Hack Oregon actually doesn’t really do a lot of Hackathons. We form s
pecialized teams to build software and open data stories for important t
hemes in Oregon\, and work and iterate incrementally over months to crea
 te a product. &#13\;\n&#13\;\nThe &quot\;Buildathon&quot\; is the one d
ay where we open up our project teams for guest and current contributors
that want to be part of the magic and build something amazing\, but mig
ht not have the time to participate in our months-long project season.&#
 13\;\n&#13\;\n##What’s the goal?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nThe Buildathon is a prod
uction sprint. We’ve laid the groundwork to do research\, visualization
s\, and data storytelling quickly\, and we need your help to bring our p
rojects to the next level. We’ll get to work shoring up and finalizing
our projects with some cross-team and outsider help. We’re going to use
our lifelines and help each other close those blocked github issues and
fine-tune designs.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nBe prepared to make friends and be an
instant part of our Hack Oregon family!&#13\;\n&#13\;\n##How can I get i
 nvolved?&#13\;\n&#13\;\nBy joining our sprint\, you’ll be placed with a
team that needs extra hands on deck in your particular skill set. We’re
working toward our public demo day at OMSI on May 1st\, where you can p
 roudly present alongside your team.&#13\;\n&#13\;\n**Perks:**&#13\;\n&#1
3\;\n* Team T-Shirt&#13\;\n&#13\;\n* All Day Food &#13\;\n&#13\;\n* Tick
et to sold out Demo Day&#13\;\n&#13\;\n* Profound Glory&#13\;\n&#13\;\n*
 *[Submit your information here](https://goo.gl/forms/pdmTPIXJ78rx7cB83)*
 * and we’ll reach out to match you with a team and link to reserve your
ticket.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nBelow you’ll find a list of skills and roles we’r
e looking for at the Buildathon\, along with this year’s five project th
emes. &#13\;\n&#13\;\n**Technical skills we’re looking for the Buildatho
n:**&#13\;\n&#13\;\n* Front End Developers (we use React.js)&#13\;\n&#13
\;\n* Data Visualization Developers (we use React.js/D3.js)&#13\;\n&#13\
