Dr. Kulander has extensive international experience and has researched and p racticed cross-cultural communication for 25 years. Recently he has begu n applying this cross-cultural expertise to the issues facing cross-gene rational communication. (And this interest has\, of course\, little to d o with his having three teenagers!) \;\n \;\nTim Kurlio\, IT Manag er\, Multnomah County \;\nTim Kurilo has worked in the technical fiel d for 28 years. He is currently the Technical Services Manager at Multno mah County\, Oregon. As a computer technician in the boom of the 90's\, Tim realized how important it was to promote new opportunities yet retai n experienced staff. He decided to join the ranks of management so he co uld help create an environment that nurtures the implementation and admi nistration of new technologies\, yet retains a quality of life for the s taff. \;\n \;\nTim and his wife\, Betsy\, have successfully "\ ;blended"\; their very diverse families of eight children and 9 gran dchildren.
