  Portland is hosting a Software Engineering Interview Preparation Worksh
 op. This event is geared towards helping women prepare for technical int
 erviews\, but we welcome everyone who supports our mission of inspiring 
 women to excel in technology careers and follows our code of conduct. Th
 e goal of the workshop is to provide people with the opportunity to gain
  experience with a technical interview format. This workshop is broken i
 nto two sections:- Interview Best Practices- Mock Interviews &amp\; Whit
 eboarding In the morning\, we'll cover an introduction to solving algori
 thms. Participants will have the chance to see common interview algorith
 ms\, and approach how to solve them under pressure. In the afternoon\, w
 e will break into groups for mock interviews. This will help participant
 s get a feel for what a technical interview might be like. Whiteboarding
  can be much different than writing on paper\, especially in front of ot
 hers. Participants will have the chance to practice answers to common qu
 estions\, thinking out loud while solving a problem and practice techniq
 ues for how to move forward when stumped. AGENDA 9:30 - Doors Open10:00

 vent cost is $10 for participants and includes lunch.Scholarships: If yo
