DESCRIPTION:We're going to try something a little different for the holid
 ays\, at a different time and different location\, so make a note!&#13\;
 \n&#13\;\nRather than a specific topic with one speaker\, we're going to
  do some lightning talks. In a nutshell\, ANYONE can stand up and do a s
 hort 5 minute presentation about any topic they wish (preferably relevan
 t to our group\, but if you really want to talk about your cats...). Eve
 ry speaker will be given be 5 minutes (by clock) with a 1 minute warning
  before the end. Slides are allowed\, but not required. Props are welcom
 e!&#13\;\n&#13\;\nHere's some ideas: &#13\;\n* Projects you're working o
 n &#13\;\n* A new toolkit you're excited about &#13\;\n* A new methodolo
 gy you've developed &#13\;\n* Books/Websites you highly recommend &#13\;
 \n* A public rant/praise about our group &#13\;\n* Hassles of writing bo
 oks (hint\, Dave... hint...) &#13\;\n* Anything\, really&#13\;\n&#13\;\n
 if you've never done a lightning talk\, here's a good thing to read: htt

 ease post/email your topic if you plan to present. We may be able to fit
  in 12-15 in a reasonable time.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWe're meeting across the
 river at &quot\;Abstract Machines&quot\;\, off Ladd's Rose Gardens Circl
 e and Squares. This won't be hard to get into - and a little more of a p
 arty atmosphere than our normal structure. Food and drinks are welcome/e
 ncouraged.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nAbstract Machines Design &amp\; Development&#1
