\;Show and Tell&quot\; sessions happen before and after most meetings\,
so bring your gadgets! Your latest circuits! LINUX tools! Your creations
! If something interests you technically\, then others in our group will
  be interested\, too.&#13\;\n &#13\;\nORCNET MEMBERSHIP:&#1

n&#13\;\nTopic: Solving Common Microcontroller Problems Quickly with Ane
 win's New MicroBench MB-500 Test Tool&#13\;\nSpeaker(s): Mike Hagen\, An
 ewin&#13\;\n&#13\;\nWhen working with microcontrollers\, certain types o
f problems arise frequently and are time-consuming to find. With these i
n mind\, Anewin designed the MicroBench MB-500 especially for embedded a
nd digital engineers. This presentation will review such problems\, the
frustrations experienced in trying to find and solve them with tradition
al test tools\, and show how the MicroBench MB-500 solves them quickly a
 nd easily.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nBiography:&#13\;\n&#13\;\nMike Hagen's disting
uished engineering career has included a variety of technical and leader
ship roles with Tektronix: senior staff technologist and director of adv
 anced development\, engineering manager\, design engineer\, evaluation e
 ngineer\, manufacturing engineer\, and test technician.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nI
n addition\, Mike was an instrumental architect and leader of IEEE Stand
ards development for VXI. He served as chair of committees that establis
hed the test and measurement industry's first modular\, computer-automat
ed instrument architecture standard.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nMike's hands-on desi
gn engineering experience includes digital and analog electronics\, FPGA
and microcontroller systems\, CMOS integrated circuits\, software\, and
  firmware.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nMore recently\, Mike co-founded Anewin\, LLC (
in Washington) with Colin Shepard.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nMike earned a Bachelor
's of Science in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University\,
holds 9 patents\, and has taught industry and community college courses
in electronic technology. Mike's hobbies include astrophotography\, ama
 teur radio\, metal work\, and making music.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nAgenda: &#13\
