Learn what Angel Investors expect from a Startup Pitch and how to get ready.

You attended a Startup Weekend event and you have decide to move forward and launch your startup, you already have your team, prototype, acquired some clients and now you are ready to talk with Angel Investors but you don't know what they are looking for in a Startup before they can invest.

This is your opportunity to ask those poignant questions and learn from two of the more active Angel Investors group here in Portland.

Portland Seed Fund

The Portland Seed Fund is a privately managed fund and non-resident accelerator focused on providing emerging companies the capital, mentoring, and connections to propel them to the next level.

The PSF, typically invest $50K-$100K initially, with the potential for follow-on funding for exceptional companies and entrepreneurs. Our portfolio companies participate in a 12-week curriculum focused on operations within a rapidly-growing business. Each weekly in-person class session takes place in Portland, OR.

While sector agnostic,The PSF focus on investments in capital efficient high growth businesses. PSF strongly prefer to invest in Portland-based companies or and/or those doing a substantial amount of business in Oregon.

TiE Angels

The success of early stage companies depends on access to capital, critical advice and support networks.

TiE Oregon is pleased to feature TiE Angels, an angel investment group formed by Charter Members of TiE Oregon. The mission of TiE Angels Oregon is to support top-tier emerging companies with early stage investment, mentorship, and support.

Since inception, TiE Angels Oregon members have invested nearly $3.8M in dozens of Oregon companies.

On July 24th we will be able to learn about how to get ready for that crucial meeting with an investor and get funded.
