DESCRIPTION:Women Who Code Portland is hosting a Software Engineering Int
 erview Preparation Workshop. This event is geared towards helping women 
 prepare for technical interviews\, but we welcome everyone who supports 
 our mission of inspiring women to excel in technology careers and follow
 s our code of conduct. The goal of the workshop is to provide people wit
 h the opportunity to gain experience with a technical interview format.&
 #13\;\n&#13\;\nThis workshop is broken into two sections:&#13\;\n- Inter
 view Best Practices&#13\;\n- Mock Interviews &amp\; Whiteboarding&#13\;\
 n&#13\;\nIn the morning\, we'll cover an introduction to solving algorit
 hms. Participants will have the chance to see common interview algorithm
 s\, and approach how to solve them under pressure.&#13\;\n&#13\;\nIn the
  afternoon\, we will break into groups for mock interviews. This will he
 lp participants get a feel for what a technical interview might be like.
  Whiteboarding can be much different than writing on paper\, especially 
 in front of others. Participants will have the chance to practice answer
 s to common questions\, thinking out loud while solving a problem and pr
 actice techniques for how to move forward when stumped.&#13\;\n&#13\;\n#
