 made us an urban case study rivaled by few others. &#13\;\n&#13\;\nYet\,
  while we remain leading placemakers in the minds of many\, it may be th
 at the most important work has not yet been done\, right where we live. 
 Together\, let's explore the possibilities\, ignite creativity\, and emb
 ark on the mission to make our neighborhoods marvelous.&#13\;\n&#13\;\n*
 *About our speaker:**&#13\;\nMark is a national leader in the developmen
 t of sustainable public places. In the last two decades he has directed\
 , facilitated\, or inspired designs for more than 500 hundred new commun
 ity-generated public places in Portland\, Oregon alone.&#13\;\nThrough h
 is leadership in Communitecture\, Inc.\, and its various affiliates such
  as the City Repair Project (501(c)3)\, The Village Building Convergence
 \, and the Planet Repair Institute\, he has also been instrumental in th
 e development of dozens of participatory organizations and urban permacu
 lture design projects across the United States and Canada. Mark works wi
 th governmental leaders\, community organizations\, and educational inst
