Amit is responsible for the vision and strategic decisions for the com pany. Having a background in computer engineering\, he has over a decade of software development experience in the commercial and federal space\ , with an emphasis in analyzing and visualizing big data\, and helped ar chitect Kinetica. Amit served as the chief GEOINT technical architect as a contractor for a major Top Secret cloud initiative between the US Arm y\, NSA\, and the DIA. Prior to Kinetica\, Amit was a subject matter exp ert on geospatial intelligence with General Dynamics AIS and had been ch ief architect for several Department of Defense and Department of Homela nd Security contracts. Amit received a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland with concentrations in Computer Science\, El ectrical Engineering\, and Mathematics. \;\n \;\n \;\n \;\nW hen \;\n \;\nJuly 19th\, 2018 (Chapter Meetings\, 3rd Thursday) 3\;\n \;\n \;\nSchedule \;\n8:30 – 9:00 am – Sign In \;\n9:0 0 – 10:15 am – Presentation \;\n10:15 – 10:30 am – Break\, Chapter An nouncements \;\n10:30 – 11:30 am – Presentation continued \;\n \;\nStandard Insurance Tower (900 SW 5th\, please note Standard Ins. has multiple downtown locations) \;\nAtrium Room at top of lobby escalat ors \;\n \;\nNearby parking options that are reasonably priced: 3\;\n \;\nSmart Park (818 SW 4th Ave\, Portland\, OR 97204) \;\nFi fth Taylor Park (545 SW Taylor St\, Portland\, OR 97204) \;\nCity Cen ter Parking (337 SW Salmon St\, Portland\, OR 97204) \;\n \;\nCost \;\n \;\nFree for Members! \;\n$15 for Non-Members \;\n$5 f or Students with valid student ID \;\nSee our corporate members \; \n \;\n\n\nTags: database\, DAMA\, DAMAPDX\n\nImported from: http://c alagator.org/events/1250474011 SUMMARY:@DAMAPDX "Real Time Databases" with Amit Vij LOCATION:Standard Insurance Center Auditorium: 900 SW 5th Avenue\, Portla nd Oregon 97204 United States SEQUENCE:3 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
