The other great thi ng about some of these expensive conferences is the networking which occ urs in the hallways and lobbies.\n\nSo\, we're going to hold our own tin y unconference\, to be held on a weekend when a bunch of Rails coders wi ll be in town\, from May 29 to June 1st\, at the entp.com headquarters i n Portland\, Oregon.\n\nIn the grand tradition of the unconference\, the re are very few planned talks (we'll have an open roster where anyone ca n sign up for a slot) and it will be completely free. There will be no w erewolf.\n\nWe'll get a signup page soon.\n\nI have a bunch of ideas:\nW e'll be sponsoring a documentation drive\, where we hack on Rails Docume ntation in exchange for beer and pizza.\n Hackfests!
